Escape Excursions takes private parties out to any of the 21 secluded Apostle Islands where then you can get in a kayak that Escape Excursions has ready to launch to explore sea caves and shorelines of the islands or perhaps we dock and explore islands on foot. There are so many possibilities that it would take a life time to see it all with over 700 square miles of national lake shore. All kayaking trips are near shore only and are weather dependent, and the power boat is always near.

This is the #1 tour at the Apostle Islands
FIRST POWER BOAT OUT 22 miles, THEN KAYAK TO EXPLORE DEVILS ISLAND SEA CAVES
Visit Devils Island and see the most beautiful sea caves the Apostle Islands has to offer, traveling by power boat through historic Apostle Islands on your way, then board kayaks and explore the beautiful sea caves. If you want you can opt out of kayaking and enjoy the sea caves from the comfort of the boat, leaving extra time for other island exploring. This trip is by far the most adventures and popular tour.
You will be boarding a very comfortable 30 foot yacht with Bimini and front enclosure for comfort from the wind.
Bring food and beverages of your choice. This is a 4 hour trip, $600 for 1or 2 people and $100 for any additional people up to a total of 6, Kayaking included weather permitting. If not kayaking $50 for each additional person
Extend any trips for an extra hundred dollars an hour.
Any kayaking trip is water temperature dependent and is usually best between June 20 through September 20
Madeline Island pick ups and drop offs $150 added to the trip.

There are more than 50 miles of maintained hiking trails on the islands with so much diverse beauty.
Explore historic light houses, abandoned quarries, scenic overlooks and the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see!
All of the trips can be modified to a longer trip for Grillin and Chillin or just hanging out for an additional $100 an hour.
Stockton Island Hike 3 hour tour
We dock at Presque Isle bay then take Julian Bay Trial 0.5 miles to beautiful Julian bay where you will see a pristine beach and an ancient volt line more than 1 million years old. You can choose to take the Anderson point trial back for a more rigorous hike, 1.4 miles about 50 minutes.
$500 for 1 to 2 people and $50 for each additional person.
Raspberry Island Hike 3 hour tour
West bay trail 1mile
What you will see is a beautiful light house that was constructed in President Lincoln's era, keepers grounds with out buildings, west bay trail going to a beautiful sandy beach.

Otter Island Hike 4 hour tour
4 miles round trip hike
What you will see here is a beautiful beach on one side of the dock and a sand spit covered in rocks that look like jewels on the other side. a camping spot nestled under the trees and a hiking trail that your body will thank you for.

Rocky Island tour 4 hours
Rocky island has a beautiful sand spit in one direction and in another a somewhat short hike takes you across the island to an overlook that presents to you Bear Island, Devils Island, and in the far distance the north shore of Minnesota. kayaking not included.

Apostle Island Water Taxi
With over fifty miles of hiking you can explore any of the islands on your own. 19 of the 21 islands have reservable camp sites. Permits are required and it is a small fee. See Apostle National Lake Shore for more info. Keep in mind there is little to no cell phone service out there. A portable marine ban radio to bring with is recommended.

This one is closest to town and on the water however there is no real water access.
Camping on Madeline island is the best! its like being at a Multi million dollar beach resort with out the resort! the beach here is one of the best the islands have to offer.

as for spending the night on an island that is not Madeline, Its hard to say what one is best because they all are pretty great! you could go to the Apostle Island National Lake shore site https://www.nps.gov/apis/planyourvisit/camping.htm They only open registration up 30 days prior to the date you want to start your camping.
